About Our Vocal Lessons
Whether you sing for fun, or want to learn to sing to help develop confidence. If you want to sing at a family members special event, or you play an instrument and want to sing along. Even if you’re coming to singing later in life, The Singing Hub is a relaxed, informal and inviting environment to help you learn.
Children & Adults
Young, or older? Shy, don’t like singing in front of others? Find it difficult to learn new skills?, or singing is just your guilty pleasure? It doesn’t matter, but whatever your reason for wanting to learn to sing, we can help you learn properly and make sure you reach your aims.
Record Your Voice
Hearing your voice recorded is a great way to help you improve your singing. You’ll benefit so much by learning about the tone of your voice, your tuning, the dynamics you sing with and you’ll understand how to control your voice. This is optional*
Qualified Teacher
Kerry is a qualified teacher, with years of classroom teaching experience too. She’s equally at home working with large groups, or teaching one-to-one. She also has Enhanced DBS clearance, so you’re in safe hands!
Breathing, Control & Vocal Range
Of course you will learn to sing songs properly, but much more importantly, you will learn how to control your breathing, change the articulations in your voice and vastly improve your singing range.
Lessons Options
Lessons can be either 30 mins (recommended for under 10’s), or 1 hour long. When starting out, we suggest booking a course of 4 consecutive lessons. That way you’ll get a much better feel for whether, or not our singing lessons are right for you.

About Your Vocal Teacher
Kerry
Kerry’s roots are firmly planted in the Performing Arts. She studied singing & dance from an early age and attended the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts stage school. Since graduating, Kerry has followed her true passion for singing and sung professionally for the last 30 years. She has travelled the world, with much of her work being on the stage of theatre, cabaret and pop music productions. Kerry formalised her professional experience to become a qualified teacher and has worked in Performing Arts & Music Schools, Secondary schools and currently spends much of her time teaching much younger children in Primary Schools. The Singing Hub is an extension of that teaching experience, which enables Kerry to share her passion for music with students in one-to-one lessons.
“I love teaching singing and helping others improve themselves. I seem to have earned a reputation for helping young people with learning & speech difficulties and other social / mental health issues. Watching someone blossom and overcome big personal hurdles is something I will never tire of”
What our Students say
My lessons with Kerry are an absolute joy! I find myself singing in the house and in the car, something I never did before taking lessons (Luv it!). When I come out of a lesson I feel great. It’s a great pick me up. We also have a good laugh. I feel like I’ve made a lovely friend.
I love to sing musical theatre songs, but had never taken formal singing lessons until I met Kerry. I’ve learned so much and Kerry is very patient with me. I’m a teacher myself, so I recognise good teaching. My lessons with Kerry have the perfect balance of theory, practical singing and fun. I was amazed the first time I heard my voice recorded 🙂
Kerry has been my singing teacher for 3 years. I’ve turned from someone without a lot of confidence in my singing, into someone who regularly sings at open mic nights. Kerry is very encouraging, but also constantly pushes me to improve. She’s the best teacher.
I started having lessons with Kerry when I was 16. I played guitar and sang as a busker, but didn’t know anything about how to sing properly until I met her. She has been teaching me for 3 years now and has really helped develop every aspect of my singing. I am now studying music full time and I perform live regularly. Kerry is great.
I’ve been dancing & singing for years, but have never had singing lessons. Kerry has been teaching me for over 2 years and with her help, my voice has improved massively. I’m now working with music producers and recording my own music. I love the lessons so much I have 2 every week!
My 14 year old daughter has been having singing lessons with Kerry for 3 years. She has been transformed from a nervous wreck, with Kerry having to literally hold her hand through every lesson, into a confident singer who sang for the first time in public recently. Her confidence, poise and attitude have changed beyond all recognition.
